It is located in Stone Kent England. Stone Lodge School opened its doors in September 2019. The Endeavour MAT established it. This multi-academy trust was formed by the Wilmington Boys and Girls grammar schools. The aim was to address the need for non-selective school places in the Dartford area.

The first students commenced learning on the site of the finished school, but in temporary premises. Construction of the permanent facilities began in 2021. The new school building was completed and occupied in April 2022. The school sixth form opened in September 2022.
Stone Lodge School has a non-selective admissions policy. It is a free school. The school offers GCSEs and Level 1 and 2 BTEC Diplomas. These are programs of study for pupils. Students in the sixth form can study a range of BTEC Extended Diplomas.

Year 8 students ask why the British Empire began. They investigate how different life was under the British Empire. They explore what the Asante gold head might reveal about the British Empire. They discuss what the Haitian revolutionaries wanted. Students learn about the impact of the Transatlantic Slave Trade on Western Africa. They investigate who abolished the slave trade. How far has modern conflict shaped the modern world? How different was decolonisation? Who should be seen as responsible for the chaos of partition? Who are the Windrush generation? How far has Britain changed beyond all recognition since 1945?
For Years 10 and 11, Stone Lodge historians refine their skills. They reflect on how history has shaped the world around them. Key Stage 4 prepares students for the Edexcel History GCSE.
