Before you stands STMIK Bani Saleh a place where technology and knowledge converge. STMIK Bani Saleh’s story began with a vision. It started with Dr H M Subki Abdulkadir an intellectual ulama. He established Yayasan Bani Saleh in 1986.
Initially the foundation offered free computer courses. These courses quickly evolved into a polytechnic. The positive response fueled further growth. On September 18 1989 AMIK Bani Saleh was founded. It stood for Akademi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer.
In 1992 STMIK Bani Saleh found its home. It moved to a campus on Jalan Mayor M Hasibuan. This location remains its base today.
A significant milestone occurred in 1999. AMIK transformed into STMIK Bani Saleh. This change was authorized by the Ministry of Education. This allowed STMIK Bani Saleh to offer Diploma and Bachelor degrees.
The campus expanded over time. Starting with two floors and 448 square meters it grew. It now includes Campus A and Campus B. These house classrooms labs and other facilities. STMIK Bani Saleh provides space for student organizations a prayer area and parking.
STMIK Bani Saleh offers several programs of study. These include Management Informatics Computer Engineering and Computerized Accounting at the Diploma level. Bachelor’s degrees are available in Informatics Engineering and Information Systems.
