What began as a small passion project in 2004 has blossomed into a Scottish brewing powerhouse. Stewart Brewing, standing tall right here in Loanhead, is an independent craft brewery with a mission: to create exceptional beer. Founded by husband and wife team Steve and Jo Stewart, this brewery is a testament to their dedication and love for beer. From the very start, their commitment to hand-crafted, small-batch brews has set them apart. They carefully select the finest ingredients for their beers, paying close attention to quality and freshness.

Today, Stewart Brewing boasts a wide variety of beers, each crafted with passion and expertise. They are known for their classic styles like the Pentland IPA and Edinburgh No. 3 Scotch Ale, but they also experiment with unique and limited edition brews, offering a flavor adventure for everyone.

Their tasting room in Leith is a popular spot for beer enthusiasts, where you can sample their offerings and learn more about the brewing process. And if you want to take a piece of Stewart Brewing home, they have a well-stocked brewery shop filled with cans, bottles, and growlers to satisfy your cravings.

Beyond the brews, Stewart Brewing is a hub of community and events. Every Friday evening, they offer brewery tours, giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the magic that unfolds. You can even take a Brew it Yourself class and experience the craft of brewing firsthand. And if you happen to be in the area on a Friday night, make sure to check out their award-winning beer and pizza restaurant paired with some of their finest concoctions. Stewart Brewing is more than just a brewery; it’s a destination for true beer lovers, offering a taste of the Scottish spirit.
