Did St Paulinus Church of England Primary School always go by that name? Here we stand, before St Paulinus Church of England Primary School. It’s located on Iron Mill Lane in Crayford, Dartford. This school, once a voluntary aided school, became an academy converter on September 1, 2015. St Paulinus Church of England Primary School, under the Diocese of Rochester, served children from ages 5 to 11. The school had a capacity of 210 pupils and catered to a mixed gender. Interestingly, the records show two headteachers. Before the conversion, Mrs. Sarah Young held the position. After the conversion, Mrs. Charlotte Rhodes became the principal. While its Ofsted rating isn’t available anymore, due to changes in their rating system, we know the school was part of the Amadeus Primary Academies Trust. This trust oversees other schools like Holy Trinity Lamorbey, Old Bexley, and St Paul’s Cray. So, while St Paulinus itself closed in 2015, its legacy lives on through the trust and the children it served.
