Opened in 1923, the St. Paul Academy and Summit School – Goodrich Campus is a tangible piece of history. The building originally housed the Summit School for girls. It wasn’t until 1969 that the Summit School merged with the St. Paul Academy for boys to become the institution we know today. The St. Paul Academy and Summit School – Goodrich Campus still reflects the architectural grandeur of the early 20th century. Think original wood paneling, bright and airy classrooms, and beautiful stained-glass windows. The heart of the campus is the inviting “Living Room” that greets visitors at the front entrance. This space, with its cozy fireplace, exudes warmth and a sense of community. The Goodrich Campus isn’t just a relic of the past, though. It seamlessly blends historical charm with modern facilities. A gymnasium, cafeteria, and auditorium have all been added to meet the needs of today’s students. Outdoors, almost five acres of green space provides room for children to play, including a playground built in 2016.
