The crypt of St Martin-in-the-Fields houses a cafe. Jazz concerts are held here. Profits support the church’s programs. The London Brass Rubbing Centre is also in the crypt.

St Martin-in-the-Fields has a close relationship with the royal family. It is their parish church. The church also has links to 10 Downing Street and the Admiralty.

St Martin-in-the-Fields established almshouses in 1886. These provided housing and support for women.
