Now it flourishes across two campuses in Berwick and Officer, nurturing nearly 1,500 students. The Officer campus, opened in 2009, specifically houses Berwick Grammar School, the brother school to St Margaret’s. Here, boys from Year 7 to 12 embark on their educational quests. St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar Officer Campus shares its rich history and resources with its sister schools. In 2013, a project was initiated to digitally unite the libraries of all three campuses. This allows students at the Officer campus access to a vast collection, including 90-year-old historical resources from the Senior School’s library. Imagine a Year 7 boy at Officer delving into the writings of students from nearly a century ago. This interconnectedness fosters a sense of community and shared heritage. This digital unification also ensures that resources are readily available to every student, regardless of their campus. A student at Officer can request a book from the Berwick campus and receive an email notification when it arrives. This interconnected system streamlines the learning process and encourages collaboration between campuses. St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar Officer Campus isn’t just about academics. It’s about fostering a love of learning and creating a modern, engaging learning environment. The library, powered by the Oliver v5 system, allows students to write and share book reviews. They can see their own reviews and their friends’ reviews, adding a social element to the reading experience. The system also displays school logos, events, and photos, further connecting the students to their school community.
