The Stations of the Cross at St. Hugh Parish were admired by many. They were originally donated to St. Hugh by the Ciszek family. But did you know that they eventually found a new home? When St. Hugh Parish in Chicago closed, the Ciszek family requested that the Stations be donated to St. Clement Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California. The newly formed St. Paul VI Parish, which now oversees the former St. Hugh property, assisted in facilitating the move. This ensured that the Stations of the Cross, a cherished part of St. Hugh’s legacy, would continue to inspire worshippers in their new location. This is just one small example of the enduring impact of St. Hugh Parish.
