In 2015, St Clare’s Primary School opened its doors. It addressed the growing need for Catholic education in Truganina. St Clare’s Primary School quickly became a cornerstone of the community. Located in the Allura Estate in Truganina South, St Clare’s Primary School is about 19km west of Melbourne. Construction began in early March 2014 and finished by the end of that year. The school was ready to welcome students in 2015. Further expansion took place, completing in 2016 for the 2017 school year. In 2018, the school added an Australian Rules football oval and a soccer/rugby pitch. Stage 3 of the building project finished in 2020, adding learning areas and a multi-purpose resource center. By 2021, St Clare’s Primary School had approximately 410 students. St Clare’s Primary School operates under the governance of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS). It aims to provide a faith-filled, Christ-centered educational community. The school recognizes and affirms the gifts and talents of each individual, celebrating diversity.
