St Andrew’s Junior College

Established in 1978 St Andrew’s Junior College boasts a rich history. Initially located in Telok Blangah it moved to Potong Pasir in 2006. This became part of St Andrew’s Village a remarkable complex. The college shares its roots with St Andrew’s School founded in 1862. It began as pre-university classes in 1969 within St Andrew’s Secondary School. For 28 years St Andrew’s Junior College thrived in Telok Blangah. Its campus featured a bitumen track and bleachers. The old Chapel of the Resurrection once stood there. It has since been relocated to St Andrew’s Village. The move to Potong Pasir reunited the college with its sister schools. The Jacob Ballas Bridge now connects them across the Kallang River. St Andrew’s Junior College is affiliated with the Anglican Diocese of Singapore.
