Imagine a store conceived in a time of scarcity. Spejder Sport emerged from post-war Denmark. Resources were limited back then.

Spejder Sport started in 1945. It was born from the vision of Det Danske Spejderkorps. They wanted a place where scouts could buy essential materials. These included tent fabric and uniform cloth.

Initially, Spejder Sport was the uniform depot for the scout corps. Before its establishment, scouts had to rely on private dealers. These dealers stocked scout gear. For many years, it was simply known as “the depot”.

Spejder Sport has a rich history. In 1970, it merged with DDP’s Pigespejderdepotet. The merger happened before the corps merged in 1973. Today, Spejder Sport offers equipment for all outdoor activities. They even developed their own brand called Asivik. Asivik provides simple gear for the Danish climate.

Spejder Sport is more than just a store. It is a member-driven project. Its mission is to contribute sustainably to Danish outdoor life. It also supports members of Det Danske Spejderkorps.

Today, Spejder Sport is a nationwide chain. It has 22 stores across Denmark as of 2023. There is also a webshop. The headquarters is located in Værløse. It handles administration, warehousing, and business-to-business sales.

Spejder Sport cares about young people. All profits go to scout activities. When you buy from Spejder Sport, you support over 36,000 children and teens. They gain experiences that will last a lifetime.

Spejder Sport also provides scout uniforms. You can find badges, knives, and more. They ensure scouts are well-equipped. They offer clothing and equipment for everyone.

In April 2023, Spejder Sport launched a new concept. It is called RETUR. RETUR is located in the old store on Nørre Farimagsgade. RETUR is the first circular store for outdoor gear in the Nordic region. You can buy used equipment there. They help repair gear and offer workshops. You can even rent gear for occasional use.

Spejder Sport strives to be the first choice for outdoor enthusiasts. They supply scouts with quality equipment. They demand high standards for materials. They ensure quality in production and design.

The Nørre Farimagsgade location is near many Copenhagen attractions. These include Torvehallerne and Nørreport Station.

The staff at Spejder Sport are outdoor enthusiasts. They love sharing tips about gear. They are experts who use nature themselves. They are ready to help you find what you need. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, they can assist you. Feel free to browse and chat.

Spejder Sport is more than a shop. It is an experience. It is where your outdoor adventures begin.
