Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a major university art gallery? Well, here we are at the SP/N Gallery at Synergy Park North 2, the largest exhibition space for student art at the University of Texas at Dallas. You can’t help but be impressed by its size. This 6,000 square foot complex boasts two conjoined exhibition spaces, two project rooms, and a reception area.

The gallery was officially opened on October 1, 2017, with the exhibition “Critical Mass: a UT Dallas Artist Alumni Exhibition. ” This was a celebration of the gallery’s opening and featured work from over 40 alumni.

SP/N Gallery is not just a place for student art. The gallery also hosts exhibitions by artists from outside the university. There are always exciting things happening here. Check the website for upcoming events and events from the past year that are still running.

The gallery is located in the far northwest corner of campus at Synergy Park North building 2 (known as SPN2 or SP2). It serves as the home for the Comer Collection of Photography.

The gallery’s extensive schedule of events ensures that there’s always something new to see. Whether you’re a student, a faculty member, or a member of the public, SP/N Gallery is a great place to discover and enjoy contemporary art.
