Ever dreamt of escaping the city without really leaving? Solalinden is a small village southeast of Munich. It’s part of the Putzbrunn municipality. We are about 12 kilometers southeast of Munich’s center. Here in Solalinden, you’ll find Rothmeyer’s Zur Einkehr.
Rothmeyer’s Zur Einkehr is a beer garden that offers a perfect escape. Fields, forests, and grazing horses surround the beer garden. It’s ideal for stressed city dwellers and nature lovers. This main building has a long history as a restaurant. An old shooting range and bowling alley hint at its past.
After some changes in management, new owners took over in 2011. They brought back a traditional Bavarian menu and beer garden. The menu features classics. You can enjoy Wurstsalat, Presssack, and Obatzda. Warm dishes include Zwiebelrostbraten, Schweinelendchen, and Käsespätzle.
The beer garden has 15 traditional benches. These benches seat about 150 guests. They sit in the shade of chestnut, lime, and ash trees. Sometimes, the food stall isn’t open. When that happens, a waitress will take your order. Guests can also bring their own Brotzeit. Tegernseer beer is served here. A Maß of Hell lager costs €6.20 as of August 2012.
Rothmeyer’s Zur Einkehr is open daily. It opens from 11 am to 11 pm. On Sundays, it opens earlier at 10 am. During winter, it’s closed on Mondays. Rothmeyer’s Zur Einkehr is located at Keferloher Marktstraße 30. It’s in 85640 Putzbrunn/Solalinden, Germany. The phone number is +49-(0)89-32708450.
