Have you ever wondered about the shows that grace our screens? They’re not conjured from thin air, they come from places like this. Right here, in front of us stands a titan of the broadcasting world – Sky Studios. This building, also known as Sky Campus, is the heart of Sky News and Sky Sports. They create and broadcast some of the most watched programmes in the UK. It was built in 1989 in the West London suburb of Isleworth. You might have no idea how many programmes are actually made here. Don’t be fooled by its unassuming exterior, Sky Studios houses a whopping ten television studios, along with galleries, purpose-built news and sports studios, and post-production facilities. More than just a studio complex, this campus is also a playout center for many Sky’s channels. It’s a broadcasting hub, a hive of activity where ideas are sparked, shows are filmed, and stories are told.
