Silcock Reserve is a large sporting reserve. It has soccer and cricket pitches for sports enthusiasts. You can access Silcock Reserve via William Road. The oval boundary measures approximately 410m. It is perfect for exercise.

Families will love the playground at Silcock Reserve. It features unusual equipment that encourages active play. Kids can enjoy a long traversing structure. It has a stand-on spinner with side-bars. There are monkey rungs, hanging disks, and a rope climbing frame. This leads to a wave slide. Two inclined circular rope climbing frames provide more climbing fun. A see-saw and stand-on spinner offer classic playground thrills.

Toddlers have their own special area at Silcock Reserve. It includes an alphabet panel, metal poles with clangers, and a steering wheel panel. A circular sandpit with gravel and a digger rounds out the playground.

Need a spot for a picnic? Silcock Reserve has you covered. There is a shelter with a BBQ and table. Unshaded seats and a water tap are also available.

Silcock Reserve is home to several sports clubs. The Croydon Ranges Cricket Club calls it home. They are a member of the Ringwood District Cricket Association. The Croydon Ranges Soccer Club also uses the reserve. Additionally the Croydon & District Obedience Dog Club meets here.

Croydon Ranges Cricket Club is active. They have six senior men’s teams and eight junior teams. Two veterans teams and an All Abilities Side add to the club’s diversity. The club started as a merger. Croydon Hockeyers and Croydon United Cricket Clubs joined forces. The club has superb facilities. There are two adjacent grounds and six nets. A large clubroom provides a great atmosphere.

Matches often take place here. Croydon Ranges Chanthar FC often plays here. They have faced teams like Tigers FC and Kburnians FC. They have also played against Panthers FC and Druk Melbourne Football Club.
