Have you ever wondered how a church can grow from a Bible study in a nursing home to a thriving community with multiple locations? Well, Shoreline City Church in Dallas is a living testament to that journey. It all started back in 2010 when Earl and Oneka McClellan, along with two young sons, moved to Dallas with a vision to build a church that would be a life-giving force in the city. They started with a Bible study group in a nursing home, and it kept growing. When they held their grand opening in January 2012, they had more than 500 people in attendance. They moved into their first building off of Northwest Highway, but they quickly outgrew that location. God blessed them with the opportunity to move to their White Rock location. Then in 2016, they launched a Bible study in Antigua, Guatemala, which later blossomed into full Sunday services. God blessed them with the opportunity to purchase their new home and headquarters in the heart of Dallas, Texas. The congregation has taken their next step in this new location, and their mission is to make Jesus famous in Dallas, Guatemala, and all over the world. So, if you’re looking for a church that is alive, authentic, full of passion, and brimming over with hope, Shoreline City Church is a place to be.
