A meeting in Kyneton’s Mechanics Institute in 1893 started the Corowa Conference. This led to the Federation of Australia. Even Ned Kelly appeared in Kyneton Courthouse when he was just fifteen. A letter he wrote is still on display at the Kyneton Museum.
