The Evanston Community Kollel – Ateret Mordechai, offers a unique opportunity for daily study, founded by Rabbi Hertzel Hillel Yitzhak, who also serves as the congregation’s Rabbi since 2009. He is a man of deep faith and wisdom, a scholar of both Torah and psychology. The congregation is a place where people from all walks of life can find a sense of belonging, whether they have been part of the community for generations or are newcomers to the city. Rabbi Yitzhak’s assistant, Rabbi Shimshon Yitzakov, has added an exciting energy to the congregation since his arrival from Israel in 2020.
