Established on January 5 1998 Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Relau stands proudly. It’s a vibrant testament to education in Relau Bayan Lepas Penang. Imagine the first day. Six teachers a clerk and a general assistant welcomed just 74 students. Three classrooms housed those pioneering learners. Most lived near Relau. Those first classrooms were named 1 Cemerlang 2 Cemerlang and 3 Cemerlang. The school’s logo and flag were selected through a competition open to everyone. Hanif Bin Zakaria of Syarikat Daya Craft Sdn Bhd designed the winning logo. Azhari Bin Jusoh created the winning flag. The school song was composed by En Abdul Hamid Arshad a Penang PSPN official. The school building followed a standardized design. The Ministry of Education’s development division ensured this structure met current needs. By 2009 Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Relau had grown. 255 boys and 232 girls made up the 487-strong student body. Fifty teachers guided these young minds. This school stands as a symbol of growth and progress. A beacon of learning in Penang for almost a quarter of a century. Today the school continues to thrive. It welcomes students from across the area. A place where dreams are nurtured and futures are shaped. It’s more than just a school. It’s a community hub. A place where generations learn grow and connect. Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Relau continues its legacy of education. It remains a cornerstone of the Relau community.
