“A century of stories whispers from these walls” The Second Samoan Church stands before you. Its history is rich. It began life as the Second Church of Christ Scientist. Pastor Misi Tagaloa described the scene. He’d seen it all in thirty years but nothing like this. The fire was unique a first for this building. The cause is still being investigated but an electrical issue is suspected. Estimates put the damage at over four million dollars. Despite the setback the Second Samoan Church’s spirit remains strong.

The food ministry continues. Volunteers offer meals Monday to Friday. They source ingredients from donors. They also use their garden. Harvest programs in Los Angeles County help. This ministry shows the community’s resilience. It highlights the church’s commitment to service. The Second Samoan Church endures. Its mission continues despite the challenges.
