After regaining its strength and learning to feed on seagrass, the dugong was successfully released back into its natural habitat, a testament to the aquarium’s commitment to preserving marine life. SeaWorld Ancol also remembers its past. Parni, a giant stingray, once captivated visitors as the aquarium’s beloved icon. Rescued from fishermen, Parni spent nine years gracing the main aquarium before passing away in 2008. Today, Parni’s preserved form resides in the aquarium’s museum, a lasting tribute to this gentle giant.
