Imagine stepping through a portal. You find yourself in a realm of adventure. This is Belantis. It is not just any theme park. It is Central Germany’s largest amusement park. Belantis spans 27 hectares. This land was once the Zwenkau open-cast lignite mine.

Belantis began as a dream. The Regiocast Group wanted an amusement park. It should rival those in western Germany. A 50-hectare area near Leipzig was chosen. The soil made construction difficult. Rainfall and plan changes complicated things. Despite this Belantis opened in April 2003.

Belantis offers thrills and magic. It is a place for the whole family. The park boasts over 60 attractions. These include four roller coasters and water rides. There is also a swing boat and a maze. Themed rides offer diverse entertainment. Belantis is divided into eight themed worlds. They are known as “The Adventure Empire”. Each world blends excitement and relaxation.

One highlight is the “Huracan” roller coaster. It thrills with loops and steep drops. For a relaxed experience try the “Knight Tournament”. Here you feel transported back in time. Water fun awaits at the “Pirate Battleship”. It delights with splashy enjoyment.

The “Valley of the Pharaohs” takes you to ancient Egypt. Ride the “Cobra of Amun Ra”. It is a roller coaster through Egyptian temples. Enjoy a relaxing ride on the “Fleet of Tutankhamun”. This river flows through the ancient world. Belantis also boasts state-of-the-art rides. The “Dragon Ride” offers spectacular effects. The “Temple of Life” is an interactive dark ride. Solve puzzles with laser guns here.

Special events are an integral part of Belantis. Spectacular shows captivate visitors. Professional artists create unforgettable experiences. Various events take place throughout the year. The park becomes an exciting festival ground. Enjoy live music and fireworks.

Annual events provide unique experiences. The Halloween Horror Fest transforms the park. Eerie shows ensure thrills. The Christmas special creates a magical winter world.

Belantis Park offers many options to refresh. You can enjoy hearty snacks and sweet treats. There is a wide selection of dishes. Child-friendly meals are also available. Restaurants and snack stands cater to your needs. Belantis emphasizes fresh ingredients.

The park steadily grew over the years. “Huracan” arrived in 2010. The “Cobra of Amun Ra” came in 2015. In 2017 a bridge connected two themed areas. In 2018 “Parques Reunidos” took over management. They expanded the area.

Today Belantis has eight themed areas. It attracts visitors from all directions. Young adventurers can explore desert expeditions. They can also compete in the “Tour de Franz”. Thrill-seekers can ride the Huracan. They can also control the wings on “Flight of the Gods”. Lakes offer scenic canoe rides.

Belantis combines high-energy attractions. It also offers family-friendly adventures. Diverse dining options create a comprehensive experience. Each visitor leaves with unforgettable memories. Belantis is more than just an amusement park. It is a journey through time and adventure. So, step right up. Let the adventure begin.
