Stepping into a realm of tranquility, we find ourselves before the Santuário Seitoku do Ten-Tao. This sacred space whispers tales of resilience and faith. The Santuário Seitoku do Ten-Tao’s journey began far from Rio, in the heart of São Paulo. Our story starts with Master Chen, also known as Tsan Tien Zan. He carried a weighty mission, entrusted to him by Yen Tie Ta Ti. This mission was to bring the teachings of Ten-Tao to the Western world. His journey began in 1963 with a 40-day voyage across the ocean. Imagine the anticipation, the uncertainty. Master Chen arrived in Brazil and faced immense hardships. He toiled in the fields, his unwavering faith his constant companion. The heavens seemed to answer his devotion. In February 1963, he established the first Santuário Seitoku in São Paulo. The Santuário Seitoku do Ten-Tao found its first home on Rua São Joaquim, in the Liberdade district. Later that year, it moved to Vila Mariana, touching the lives of many who received the Ten-Tao. In 1965, it relocated again, this time to Jabaquara. Finally, in 1973, the Santuário Seitoku do Ten-Tao embarked on a new chapter, finding its permanent home here in Rio de Janeiro. Here, in this vibrant city, it has flourished. The Santuário Seitoku do Ten-Tao has become a beacon of the Ten-Tao philosophy. It has spread its message far and wide, establishing deep roots in the community.
