San Francisco Christian Center stands as a beacon. It is located in the Outer Mission District. The church’s story began in 1953. It was first known as New Testament Temple. Rev. William Keller founded it.

In 1954, Rev. H.R. Bagwell took over. He changed the name to San Francisco Revival Center. Then, in 1966, Bishop Donald E. Green became the senior pastor. He renamed it San Francisco Christian Center. Bishop Green served for an impressive 44 years. He retired in 2010. Today, Rev. Roderick Gittens leads this vibrant church.
