In 1979, Pastor J. Neaul Haynes rose to episcopacy. He became Prelate of Texas Northeast First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. He combined Wheatley and Haynes Chapel churches. He then moved both congregations to Saintsville Sanctuary Church Of God In Christ. They became one unified family.
