Originally, the ever-growing congregation of Saint Cletus Church held their first mass at the United Auto Workers Civic Center. But soon, a new home was needed. The first building, a combined church and school, opened its doors in 1953, followed by the dedication of a permanent church in 1954. However, the story doesn’t end there. The expansion continued with a new church and rectory in 1961, culminating in a magnificent Christmas Eve Mass that same year.
