The road between Aarhus and Viborg a vital artery changed Sabro forever. Built around 1890 this road transformed the area. A new settlement sprang up near the crossroads. It lay about a kilometer from the old village. It became the heart of a growing community.
This crossroads saw the rise of Sabro Korsvejskolen. In 1964 this central school opened its doors. The parish councils of Borum-Lyngby Lading and Sabro-Får up collaborated. This school became a magnet attracting families and boosting the population.
