From its humble beginnings as Klinik Dharma Asih RSUD Mangusada Badung has blossomed. This hospital wasn’t always the impressive facility it is today. It started as a small clinic run by the Yayasan Hindu Rsi Markandya.
In September 1998 the Badung regency government took over. The clinic transformed into the Poliklinik Rumah Bersalin Cura Dharma Asih. Expansion followed. A new building was constructed. In 2002 a significant milestone was reached. The hospital officially opened its doors. It initially offered outpatient services an emergency unit and inpatient care with 25 beds.
The official inauguration by the then Bupati AA Ngurah Oka Ratmadi SH marked a turning point. September 4th became the hospital’s anniversary. Over the years RSUD Mangusada Badung grew. New services and facilities were added. This included a hemodialysis unit and expansions to its outpatient clinics.
In 2010 a new director Dr Agus Bintang Suryadhi M Kes took the helm. The hospital gained a new status. It became a class C general hospital. A crucial change also happened. It transitioned into a Public Service Agency. This allowed for greater autonomy and improved efficiency.
The hospital continued its expansion. New buildings were constructed including a new outpatient wing and increased inpatient capacity. Modern equipment was added. Services like endoscopy and advanced imaging technologies arrived. In 2015 a significant change occurred. The hospital’s name officially changed to RSUD Mangusada Badung reflecting its growth.
Awards and accolades began to arrive. The hospital’s dedication to quality care and patient satisfaction became evident. It received recognition for its commitment to patient care and its dedication to improving services. RSUD Mangusada Badung continued to expand its services. Specializations such as cardiology and pediatric surgery were added. It became a satellite education hospital for Udayana University’s medical school.
Today RSUD Mangusada Badung stands as a testament to progress. From a small clinic to a well-equipped modern facility. It offers a wide range of medical services to the people of Badung and beyond. It’s a place where lives are saved and health is restored. A true symbol of commitment to healthcare in the region.
