The building itself is a stunning example of Lombard Romanesque style. Carlos Massa oversaw its construction. The church’s design is both simple and elegant. It reflects a strong sense of community.
On April 24 1937 Cardinal Santiago Luis Copello blessed the building. A large crowd attended the ceremony. It was a momentous occasion. The first baptism and marriage followed soon after. These events cemented the Resurrección del Señor’s place within the Chacarita neighborhood.
