Completed in 1975, the Résidence Ferrare stands as a testament to modern architectural design. This residential tower, reaching a height of 102 meters with 35 floors, is a prominent feature of the Parisian skyline. The Résidence Ferrare is part of the larger Ensemble Masséna complex. Architect Jean Sebag designed this complex to maximize green space. Unlike other high-rise developments in the area, the towers of Ensemble Masséna are not built on a concrete platform. They are anchored directly to the natural ground, allowing for gardens and walkways at their base. The Résidence Ferrare and its neighboring towers replaced the former Panhard factories. This area, nestled between Porte d’Italie and Porte d’Ivry, has undergone significant transformation over the years. Today, it stands as a vibrant example of modern urban planning, blending residential life with green spaces.
