Prayer at 10:30 am? Redemption Church invites you to explore faith and community. Redemption Church meets every Sunday morning at 9 am and 11 am. It is located at 1660 McAllister Street in San Francisco. This is just east of Alamo Square.

Redemption Church is a multi-ethnic church. Christ is central here. All are welcome. Sundays at Redemption Church are about Christ and community. Each gathering includes songs of worship. People meet and greet one another. They listen to a message preached from the Bible. You can come early to hang out in the lobby with coffee.

Redemption Church also meets for prayer in the sanctuary at 10:30 am. There’s no need to dress up. Kids and babies are welcome.

Redemption Church offers Redemption Kids classrooms on Sunday mornings. The Tot class is for babies aged 6 months through 3 years. The Kids class is for 4-year-olds through elementary grades. Redemption Church exists to bring the good news of the Gospel to San Francisco. They believe Jesus redeems people. He renews life. He reconciles relationships. Jesus is actively restoring the world.

At Redemption Church, they value living in community. They seek to grow as disciples of Jesus. Community groups meet throughout the week in homes. These groups include 10-15 people. They pursue Jesus together. Groups are ethnically and culturally diverse. Men and women attend. Old and young participate. Single and married people join. Non-Christians, new Christians, and long-time followers gather. They study the word, build community, care for one another, and serve the City together. This reflects biblical Christian community.

Redeemer was planted and led by Pastor Danny Fong and Pastor Cindi Fong from 2002 to 2022. The church is grateful for their faithful service. Young-Ki Kim serves as pastor. He found his faith in college. He later joined Grace Fellowship in San Francisco. In 2023, he joined Redeemer as a pastor. Debbie Gish serves as the Administrator. She has been part of the Redeemer community for about a decade. She helps keep Redeemer’s life running smoothly.

Redemption Church provides free parking in their garage. This is for new visitors, the elderly, disabled individuals, and families with young children. Bike parking is available in front. The 5 bus line stops just half a block away.
