It offered a vast selection of electronics and gadgets across four of its five floors. Ratu Plaza became popular with both locals and expats. It housed over 6,000 square meters of retail space. Its Carrefour supermarket, later replaced by Lotte Mart, experienced gas leaks in 2007 and 2008. These incidents caused concern and even prompted discussions of shutting down the supermarket. Despite these setbacks, Ratu Plaza has endured. It continues to be a landmark in Jakarta.
