Built in a mere 48 hours, this temporary tabernacle served the growing congregation for a year. Imagine the energy, the shared purpose, as neighbors hammered and sawed, raising their church from the ground. The Queen Anne Christian Church community quickly outgrew the tabernacle. They set their sights on a new building, right on the same spot. Plans were drawn, funds were raised, and dreams took shape. However, in a twist of fate, the church found a new home at Third West and West Lee Street. In October 1911, the Queen Anne Christian Church opened its doors at its current location.
