Picture a grand building. It stands proudly on the corner of Oxford Road and Disraeli Road. This is the Putney School of Art & Design. For eleven years the school resided in humble parish offices on Putney High Street. Then came the move. John W Wallis a skilled architect designed the building we see today. The school’s journey continued. In 1906 London County Council took over its management. Today Wandsworth Borough Council and Enable Leisure and Culture share that responsibility.
