Pondok Jagung Timur received a substantial grant of Rp 75 000 000 from the Tangerang Regency Government. This money funded the purchase of land and the construction of a new village head’s office. The building stands in Kampung Dongkal. Its existence is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the interim village head Mr. Mohamad Lepay. He tirelessly worked to ensure the development of Pondok Jagung Timur.

The 2010 census recorded a population of 17 435 residents for Pondok Jagung Timur. This number reflects the thriving community in this dynamic area. The year 2012 also offers a snapshot of the kelurahan’s staff structure including the names of various officials. This glimpse into the past highlights the growth and development of Pondok Jagung Timur. The village continues to evolve.
