“Plongeur sur le Ring”! This is the name of the mural right in front of you. If you didn’t know before, you do now. It’s a pretty striking piece, right? The artist Shaka. He completed it back in April of 2024. Right now, it dominates this part of the street. You’d think there would have been some controversy, right? Maybe even some rumors. I mean, here in Paris they don’t always readily embrace art that challenges the norm. You heard the whispers, right? But this mural, it just speaks to everyone. It speaks to everyday people. It’s a very powerful piece. And when the music flows from the street musicians, it’s like the mural itself is dancing to the beat. In fact, I bet you are already swaying to the sound. Sometimes you just have to stop and admire the art. Don’t forget to check out the YouTube video! The link’s in the description. I wonder if you’ll see the same people in the video that you see in the real world right now? You can really immerse yourself.
