Initially, the congregation met in the Grange Hall. This hall was also known as the Lodge. It was in Bransford. Later, they moved to Pleasant Run School. This school was south of the present church.

In 1904, W.H. Throop and Dave Vickers made a significant contribution. They donated one acre of land. This land was for a church house. This act of generosity allowed the church to grow.

Over time, the church expanded. Sunday School rooms were added. An educational facility was built. A new sanctuary provided a larger worship space.

This marker was placed here in 1978. It is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. The marker is located at 6005 Pleasant Run Road in Colleyville.
