Dr. Teody Pajaron, a former National Coordinator for Philippine Campus Crusade for Christ, and his wife, Bing, founded FamilyLife Philippines. Bing’s childhood, marked by an absent father, fueled a deep desire to see families thrive. Phil Campus Crusade for Christ played a pivotal role in their journey. This organization, known internationally for its student ministry, became the launching pad for FamilyLife Philippines. The Pajarons, with their background in campus ministry and a shared passion for strengthening families, found their calling. Phil Campus Crusade for Christ provided a network and a platform. It was at a Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference, sponsored by a friend, that the seed for FamilyLife Philippines was planted. Back in Manila, the Pajarons began teaching the Weekend to Remember program. They worked with Phil Campus Crusade for Christ staff couples, pastors, and local churches. The ministry gained momentum. In 1996, they established the Church and Family Resource Center in Davao. From mimeographed handouts to extensive fundraising, the early days were challenging but fruitful.
