Before the current temple was built, the community worked hard to raise funds. In August 1966, a campaign began to construct the parish temple. The church was blessed on October 28, 1984. The adjacent school began in 1955 with a kindergarten and four primary grades. It started with 80 students. By 1958, the school had grown to 230 students.
