Originally, Park Campus aimed to provide alternative education. It served students aged 11 to 16. The unit housed 153 pupils. In 2014, Park Campus closed as a Pupil Referral Unit.

Then, something new emerged. Park Campus Academy opened on July 1, 2014. It became an academy alternative provision converter. This meant it was an academy that specialized in alternative education. The reason was an Academy Converter. Mrs Melissa Elve-Williams was the principal.

Park Campus Academy continued to serve students aged 11 to 16. The academy had a capacity for 110 pupils. However, the number of pupils was much lower. In 2022, there were only 34 students enrolled. The school is of mixed gender. It does not apply to have a religious character.

Interestingly, a significant percentage of students were eligible for free school meals. In 2022, 47.1% of pupils qualified. This equated to 16 students.

Sadly, Park Campus Academy closed on October 31, 2022. The reason for closure was a result of an amalgamation or merger. It merged into Evolve Academy.

Though Park Campus Academy is closed, its legacy remains. It represents a commitment to alternative education. It shows a dedication to students in Lambeth. The location of Park Campus Academy is in an urban major conurbation. It falls within the Knight’s Hill ward.
