Park Avenue United Methodist Church’s story began in 1893. It started at the corner of 35th Street and Chicago Avenue S. The church then moved in 1911. Its new location was at the corner of 34th Street and Park Avenue S. In 2011, Park Avenue United Methodist Church celebrated 100 years at that corner. Now fast forward. It is 2023. Park Avenue United Methodist Church celebrated 130 years of ministry. The members were eager to see what God would continue to do there.
