Parc Animalier Hi-Han in Roissy-en-Brie is a unique petting zoo a place where you can get up close and personal with farm animals. The Parc Animalier Hi-Han is run by the Association HI HAN a dedicated team of volunteers. They welcome all kinds of help whether it’s manpower materials or financial contributions. Unlike a traditional zoo where animals are kept at a distance Parc Animalier Hi-Han allows you to interact with the animals. You can feed and even touch many of the farm animals. Donkeys ponies sheep goats pigs ducks turkeys geese chickens and roosters all call this place home. However please remember that you can’t touch the pigs. There are also educational opportunities. Guided tours teach visitors about the life cycle of the animals. You’ll learn about how they are born how they eat how they reproduce and even how they die. At the end of your visit you’ll receive an educational folder with documents about the animals a quiz and small souvenirs like seeds wool feathers hay and straw. It’s a wonderful way for city kids to reconnect with nature.

Parc Animalier Hi-Han isn’t just a fun outing. It’s also a place for learning and understanding. The park organizes regular events and activities adding to its appeal. The park is very affordable. Entry is just 4 euros for both children and adults. Children under two get in free. A ten-entry card costs 32 euros. Tickets are only sold on-site no reservations are needed.
