In 2020, Papakura Intermediate School housed a driven Board of Trustees, a visionary leadership team, a dynamic staff, and over 200 self-determined learners. Papakura Intermediate also hosted over 800 innovative learners in its specialist technology program. This program, attracting attention from local primary schools, embodies the school’s commitment to cutting-edge, inquiry-based learning. Papakura Intermediate School recognizes the unique developmental stage of its students. These emerging adolescents, aged 11 to 13, are beginning to apply their early understandings to the world, thinking critically and embracing challenges. The school’s curriculum caters to this growth by offering diverse learning opportunities and chances for specialization. Papakura Intermediate aims to prepare students for high school and beyond with specialist teachers, spaces, and resources.
