Isn’t it intriguing how buildings hold stories? Right here, before us, stands Our Lady of Sion College, a grand institution with a humble beginning. Back in 1928, Our Lady of Sion College sprouted from a repurposed stable block. Imagine, a place that once housed horses transformed into a space for young minds! The college, you see, was established by six dedicated Sisters of Our Lady of Sion. They journeyed from Sale with a vision to educate young women, starting with just 15 students. Over time, Our Lady of Sion College blossomed. Today, it nurtures over 950 girls from Years 7 to 12, a testament to those early days of faith and perseverance. These halls have witnessed generations of young women blossom into confident individuals, their laughter echoing the dedication of the Sisters who dared to dream big in a humble stable. As we move on, take a moment to appreciate the legacy etched in these walls, a testament to the power of education and the unwavering spirit of those who dared to dream.
