In 1988, armed with nothing but a classified ad and a mountain of faith, Pastor Hill embarked on a mission. He envisioned a church filled with warmth, a beacon of hope in Dallas. He found a “for sale” listing. The building, a former Baptist church, was dilapidated, in desperate need of repair. Yet, Pastor Hill saw potential – a chance to build a spiritual sanctuary.
Despite having just $30 to his name, he knew God would provide. And He did. The church was theirs. The Old Landmark Holiness Church opened its doors on April 10, 1988. This building witnessed Pastor Hill’s inspiring sermons, his unwavering belief in the “Highway of Holiness”. It echoed with Evangelist Juetta Hill’s powerful voice, her unshakeable faith, especially during the challenging days when their son, Charles II, was battling brain cancer.
