Over the years, the company slowly but surely shifted their focus to the cosmos, becoming a leader in space technology by the 1980s. The Fuchs family, taking the helm, navigated OHB through incredible achievements. They built and launched numerous satellites, from the pioneering Galileo navigation system to the impressive H36W-1, which offers multimedia services to Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands and South America. The legacy of OHB System doesn’t stop there. They have a hand in developing exploration missions to the moon, Mars, Jupiter and other celestial bodies, demonstrating their ambition and commitment to unraveling the mysteries of the universe.
