Have you ever wanted to escape the city and immerse yourself in the serenity of the Australian bush? Welcome to Oasis Youth Camp. Nestled amongst the Dandenong Ranges National Park, just 38 km east of Melbourne, this Christian camp has been a haven for adventure and spiritual growth for over 55 years. Imagine yourself here, standing at the entrance, breathing in the crisp mountain air. The air is filled with the scent of eucalyptus and pine, as you walk up the drive, passing towering trees that seem to guard the grounds. As you approach the camp, you’ll be greeted by a charming log cabin, the main building, which houses a cosy fireplace and a community room filled with laughter and stories from past visitors. And what are the stories you ask? There are stories of countless school camps, weekend retreats and conferences. Oasis is a place where people can reconnect with nature, with themselves, and with their faith. The camp is known for its welcoming atmosphere and dedicated staff who offer guidance and support for everything, from campfire sing-alongs to inspiring bible studies. But Oasis is not only about faith. It’s also a place where people can learn and grow. Oasis is a haven for adventure seekers, offering a wide variety of activities, from bushwalking and rock climbing to kayaking and archery.
