Right here, in the heart of Dallas, stands Northway Church, a testament to enduring faith and community spirit that stretches back to the early 1900s. Its story began not with grand pronouncements, but with the simple act of two mothers gathering their children for Sunday School in 1906. This humble beginning, fueled by a desire to share faith and nurture young minds, quickly blossomed. Before long, their horse-drawn carpool overflowed with children, a testament to the growing community eager to embrace the teachings of faith. The church, originally known as North Dallas Christian Church, moved locations several times, each move reflecting its expanding congregation and unwavering dedication. It transformed from a small meat market to a modest church building, eventually finding its current home on Northwest Highway and Airline Road in 1950.
