In the heart of Vestamager, Nøragersminde isn’t just a place; it’s a story etched in the very fabric of Copenhagen. Nøragersminde began as a humble farm, nestled amidst the fertile fields of Amager. This island, known as Copenhagen’s kitchen, provided sustenance for the burgeoning city. But Nøragersminde’s story took a dramatic turn in the 1970s. Within the walls of the old Nøragersminde farm, a youth club emerged, a beacon of hope for the area’s restless youth. This club, also called Nøragersminde, became a haven, a place where young people could find camaraderie and purpose. It was here, under the guidance of John Karlslund, that a group of teenagers formed the Nøragersmindebanden, a motorcycle club that would soon become infamous. This group, born from the streets of Vestamager, eventually evolved into the notorious Bullshit gang. They clashed with rival gangs like Nomads MC, marking a dark chapter in Copenhagen’s history. Their leader, known as Makrellen, found love amidst the chaos, marrying Pia, who embraced the gang as her family. Nøragersminde thus became the unlikely birthplace of a rocker gang that challenged the established order, their story intertwined with violence and tragedy. The gang’s reign was short-lived, ultimately succumbing to the dominance of the Hells Angels. But their legacy, born from the youth club at Nøragersminde, remains a stark reminder of a turbulent era in Copenhagen’s past. Nøragersminde stands today as a silent witness, a place where the echoes of roaring motorcycles and youthful rebellion still linger in the air.
