Young Jarvis continued his path to ministry under the mentorship of Dr. L.D. Tate in Rockford, Illinois. He even served as Interim Pastor at New Direction Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church at the incredibly young age of sixteen. The New Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a testament to faith and dedication. Reverend Hanson’s commitment to education is evident in his impressive academic achievements. He studied at Moody Bible Institute, Lay Bible Institute, Northern Theological Seminary, and Atlantic Coast Theological Seminary. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, two Master’s degrees, and a Doctorate in Ministry. His dedication to his calling at the New Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church and beyond is inspiring.
